Life hacks I know at 33 that I wish I knew at 23:
- The person you are today depends largely on the books you read, the
people you see, the food you consume and the habits you adopt.
- If you want to improve at anything, the first step is tracking your progress.
- If you want something, the least you can do is ask for it. You either get it and succeed or you don't and build resilience.
- Always practice reflecting on the “gain” and not the “gap.”
- 80% of your daily problems can be solved with a hard workout, a walk in nature, and a good night's sleep.
- You should always fill your own cup before you start trying to pour into someone else’s.
- Manifestation is real: set ambitious goals, be positive and practice self-reaffirmation.
- The 4 Quarters Rule - See each day as 4 quarters: morning, midday, afternoon, and evening.
- Want to smash a big goal? Use the 90/90/1 method: Use the first 90 minutes of your day, for 90 days towards 1 main focus.
- Prioritize saying “no” to things. Whether it’s friends, family, or business; never let others’ priorities trump yours.
- Have a powerful morning routine: Don’t check your phone when you wake up, get outside into daylight and drink a pint of water.
- Consume content at 1.5x speed - This will speed up the whole learning process.
- Stop trying to find balance with everything. Accept that life is imbalanced by its nature and that’s okay.
- Money should never be the goal. For true fulfillment, prioritize a healthy, sustainable journey of continuous development.
- Disconnect regularly. Go for a tech free walk every day in nature. 16. The 3-2-1 Rule for better sleep. No food 3 hours before sleep, no drink 2 hours before sleep and no screens 1 hour before sleep.
- Use the 2-minute rule for productivity; if a task takes less than 2 minutes, just get it done now.
- Create an Anti to do list in order to avoid bad habits, actions, or counterproductive thoughts
- Utilize the 80:20 rule in life and business. Know that 20% of your actions will result in 80% of your results.
- Consistently seek feedback, keep it, and implement it. Growth compounds rapidly.
- Use the 5/25 Rule - write down
- goals, circle the most important 5 and start working on them. The other 20 are distractions.
- Try task batching - Group similar tasks together and complete them in one go.
- Don't try to blend in with others. Being different or weird is your superpower.
- You don’t always have to see everything through. If you don’t like a job, a book, or a business, learn when it’s best to quit. Which one resonates the most with you?
